The Power of the Inbound Operating System

Alison elworthy

When Inbound Organization first launched, Todd and Dan headed to Massachusetts to celebrate the book launch with the folks at HubSpot. While they were there, they did a series of interviews about how Inbound Organization relates to, has impacted, and reflects the state of inbound for those who live and breathe inbound every day.

In this interview, Todd and Dan talked with Alison Elworthy, VP of Customer Success at HubSpot, about the inbound operating system, what it is, what it does, and why you should be using one to run your business.

Dan: Alright, my name is Dan Tyre. I'm the co-author of the Inbound Organization. And who are you?

Todd: I am Todd Hockenberry and I am also co-author of the Inbound Organization.

Dan: Who are you?

Alison: Alison Elworthy, VP of Customer Success here at HubSpot

Dan: And Allison, where are we?

Alison: We are at HubSpot HQ here in Cambridge, Mass.

Todd: Tell us about the inbound operating system.

Alison: It’s the way to run your business in the 21st century. So, it's all about creating a mission, a shared sense of goals, something that you communicate through your entire organization to hold your teams accountable to performing against your key initiatives, and it's all about making that super transparent throughout your organization so you can stay aligned as one team.
