What do we mean by a marketing strategy and marketing tactics? A marketing strategy is the overall plan, or roadmap, that will guide your use of marketing tactics, things like running ads or attending a trade show. The backbone of developing a marketing strategy is understand who you target client is, the value you deliver to them, how to communicate your value to the target, and what needs to happen to facilitate the buying process. Once you have that information, you can develop a strategy for how best to use inbound, outbound, and sales prospecting tactics.
